On April 11th, while on his way to coaching a youth soccer game, Coach Sennay was involved in a car accident that resulted in serious injury. Sennay sustained bruised lungs, broken ribs, and--worst of all--several fractures in his back. He was brought to Stanford Hospital via ambulance, where he underwent surgery to have pins implanted in his spine. The surgery was deemed successful, but Sennay has a long road ahead.
We are fortunate that someone of Sennay’s coaching caliber chooses to work with kids, but the truth is that this means he and his peers have little ability to absorb the type of financial responsibilities that result from a serious car accident such as this. Sennay has made a difference in our lives. Now it’s our turn to do the same for him!
A donation website has been setup to get Sennay back on his feet and on the field. Your contributions will be used to help support medical expenses such as deductibles, therapy, transportation, and various costs related to the ICU, surgery, and ambulance services, that are not being covered.
Any contribution you are able to make would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help organize any additional fundraising opportunities, please contact me.
On behalf of Sennay and his family, they ask that no posts to facebook at this time and thank you so much for your support!
