BENEFITING: RIGHTWAY FOUNDATION
The RightWay Foundation is excited to announce that we have moved to historic Leimert Park in South LA with our partner, Art and Practice.
Art and Practice is creating a foster youth center and invited us to be located on their campus. RightWay is now in a brand new 3,000 sq. ft. facility complete with a class room for Operation Emancipation, a youth computer lab, and space for mental health services.
Operation Emancipation is an 8-week course that integrates training and one-on-one support in: mental health services, life skills training, work readiness, career counseling, financial literacy, and job retention. Our classroom can fit up to 60 participants for this class or other workshops. Our drop-in computer lab will let foster youth have the opportunity to use Microsoft Office products and access their email and the internet to do job searches. The addition of a space for one-on-one therapy will provide the youth with more opportunities to tackle their behavioral barriers that keep many foster youth from reaching success.
We are asking you to help us grow in this new space. Our goal is to equip 100 foster youth a year with the skills needed to get into and keep a job. We need your help to make this happen. Please donate whatever you can to help us meet our goal of raising $50,000.
