Dear friends and family,
As a Board member of Wilderness Torah. I am really proud to participating in this timely Crowdrise campaign. I have a goal of raising $1,500 before November 30th.
Why am I fundraising? Because I love Wilderness Torah and the impact it's had on my life lives and so many others.
Wilderness Torah believes that the ancient roots of Judaism hold wisdom for our modern, disconnected world. We create inclusive Jewish experiences that reconnect Jewish ritual to the land and powerfully reconnect people across a wide spectrum to Judaism.
Programs include multi-generational holiday retreats in nature; ground-breaking K-12 outdoor Jewish education; and starting in 2016, a national Training Institute to bring our innovative models to communities nationwide. We've been named one of the nation's most innovative Jewish nonprofits four years in a row by Slingshot Fund (2011-15).
As someone who I know values Jewish community and Jewish learning, I’d be honored if you would consider making a gift in support of Wilderness Torah. All gifts are meaningful, and I'm excited to share that all new and increased gifts will be matched dollar for dollar by the Jim Joseph Foundation. Your contribution will support scholarships and reduced tickets for hundreds of young adults, families and elders a year to participate in Wilderness Torah programs.
I'd be happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about our work and how Wilderness Torah is bringing a new approach for meaningful Judaism in 5776! Thank you in advance for your meaningful gift!
