EVENT: CrowdRise Holiday Challenge

EVENT DATE: Dec 31, 2014

Family Service Association offers a wide range of community and clinical services throughout seven southern New Jersey counties, and serves to approximately 8,500 persons per year. One hundred and three years after it was founded, Family Service Association is still hard at work in the community providing an array of services that meet the needs of families and individuals. We serve every population group from children to adults, and every ethnic group in every socio-economic status. According to the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement Committee, eighty three percent of the persons who receive services from Family Service Association feel that they improved their situation as a result of the intervention they received, and 73.7% remained stable for at least 6 months after intervention.
The organization is involved in many collaborative activities with local government, churches, volunteer organizations, and corporations. When a problem arises in the community, Family Service Association is a community leader that seeks to address the problem.
Because of our history, our thorough involvement in the community, and our wide array of services, Family Service Association is uniquely qualified to branch into many new areas of service to meet the needs of the people we serve as they become identified. Family Service Association currently operates a number of programs that serve at risk young children and their parents. These programs include the Family Life Center, the Pleasantville Family Success Center, the Egg Harbor Township Family Success Center, the Western Atlantic Parent Family Support Network, the Family Preservation Program,. Each of these programs provides the organization with expertise in administering in-home, parent-teaching programs that are outcome-driven and measurable. These programs collectively serve more than 2,000 children and families per year.
