THE STORY:

Want to join in on something spectacular??? This summer, a group of high school students is sacrificing their time and their resources to travel to one of the most forgotten places of NYC. Just one block off of the famed Coney Island amusement park lives a sector of workers and impoverished still dwelling in the wake of hurricane Sandy. Our students will join the local church planter of Grafitti Church #5 in sowing seeds of the gospel through servant evangelism...displaying the love of Jesus among an unloved and almost forgotten people of Brooklyn. During the day they will be serving local businesses by freely washing windows, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors, etc. In the afternoons, they will turn their attention outward to community activities, such as handing out bubbles to children in local parks and picking up trash along the littered sidewalks. By shining light in the darkness via these small acts of service, we’ve seen hardened hearts softened and doors for the gospel opened. Will you join in helping send our students out as ambassadors for God’s Kingdom? A gift of any amount will help mobilize this team of high-schoolers. Your partnership in the gospel is greatly appreciated!!!
