If you catch yourself working hard and loving every minute of it, don’t stop; you’re on to something BIG!
In 2013, Harley-Davidson LIFE Member Steven Foster realized his dream to complete a solo motorcycle ride along the perimeter of the U.S. His “Full-Throttle Leadership Ride”lasted 32 days and traveled through 34 states for a total of 15,000 miles.
"My ride is complete, but the journey to raise awareness and support for America’s military will continue," said Foster, Managing Partner of Foster+Fathom, a leadership training company in Dallas. "It's never too late to go FULL-THROTTLE!"
The Cause behind the Ride - The Boot Campaign (www.bootcampaign.com) - is a grassroots initiative started in Texas that provides a unique way for Americans to show appreciation for troops, cultivate awareness of the challenges they face upon return and raise funds for military support programs.
Throughout the ride, Foster wore a pair of the Boot Campaign’s Desert ALTAMA Army boots, encouraging everyone he met along the way to “Get Your Boots On!”
“Riding the perimeter of the country was simply a bucket list dream, but what it actually became was a way to match my passion for motorcycles with a purpose and cause so much greater than I originally imagined, said Foster.
"Serving our veterans, military and their families is a calling we all can get behind."
