Organized by: Ari Woodworth
EVENT DATE Oct 26, 2016
My name is Ari Woodworth. ב"ה I am honored to be Gabbai/Shamash and Shabbat Chazzan for the South Metro Chabad Center in Lone Tree.
I have noticed lately that, due to our tremendous growth, the Metro Denver Jewish Community is in extreme need of an additional Mohel to help serve the families of our beautiful city and the surrounding area. I have started this fundraiser to assist in sending me to Israel to take part in a Mohel training program, directed by Rabbi Aharon Kramer of BritAvot, in Jerusalem. This program will take three months to complete and the assistance will allow me to pay the $35,000 it costs for the program.
Becoming a Mohel has been an avid goal of mine for many years, and until now, I could not figure out a way to accomplish it. I feel, as well as others, as though I am a great candidate for this opportunity with my 10 years of experience in the medical field as a medical assistant. I have also been told I am a “natural” by a renowned Mohel, Rabbi Nachman Kreiman of Los Angeles. With his assistance, he allowed me to perform my very first Brit Milah on my own son Shaya.
Assisting in this fundraiser, I believe, would be an excellent opportunity for our entire community to come together and take part in making sure we have a Mohel that will be able to serve the community now and in the future to come. Due to the fact that I am reaching out and seeking assistance to help fund this endeavor, I have committed to serve our wonderful community for a period of no less than 10 years. To get this fundraiser started I have personally contributed $2000, and the cost of the flight has been graciously donated. I thank you for your time and consideration. May HaShem bless you and may we all merit the coming of Moshiach speedily in our days.
I wish you all the best,
