Fund for Yael and Neta Weisman
Organized by: The Weisman Family
Baby named after hero who tackled terrorists unarmed
May 25, 2016
On 18 February 2016 Yanai Tuvia Weisman, an Israeli soldier, husband, father, son, brother, grandson and uncle, was killed while trying to stop two Palestinian teenage terrorists from stabbing shoppers at a supermarket near his home in Maale Michmas, Israel. He was 21 years old and starting a happy family life. He leaves behind his wife, Yael, and their now 5-month old girl, Neta.
Yanai's family spans two continents and four generations. He leaves three brothers, his parents and a long list of extended family in Israel and the United States.
Yael is 21 years old and now a single mother. She's planning to go to university beginning in the fall of 2016. She will need to have her daughter, Neta, in daycare while she attends school. Her dream is for Neta to grow and thrive in Israel and, someday, to also attend university and live a full and happy life.

This fund will help them realize their dreams. Thank you.
