My friend's daughter is 3 years old. Her name is Arya and she is fighting for her life. In August 2015 she was diagnosed with leukemia, whilst receiving treatment in the hospital she contracted a fungal infection that began eating away at her arm.
On top of all that she's had to endure to treat the leukemia Arya is now wrestling with this aggressive infection. So far she's had over 11 agonizing surgeries: the most recent involving the removal of skin from her abdomen to be grafted onto the wound on her arm. She has begun her 4th round of chemo and is continuing treatment for the infection.
Arya’s mother has not left her side since her diagnosis and the financial, emotional, and physical fallout has been overwhelming. She is a single mother, unable to work, and has been battling to keep her head above water.
I realize there's nothing I can say, and very little I can do to help Arya or her mother. But what I can do is share this fundraising opportunity with everyone I know, and together we can all make a difference in the quality of their lives. Every single dollar will help enormously.
I invite you to open your heart and partake of the healing grace available to you through your generous contribution to this campaign. Your gifts will help with much needed resources to keep this family sustained though this terrible time
I encourage you to share this fundraiser with everyone you know.
Sincerely and lovingly,
All of the funds raised through this Crowdrise campaign are 100% tax deductible and will directly support Arya Marie Chatterjee, and her mother, Jennifer. Proceeds will be donated to The Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), who will facilitate payment of Arya and her mothers living expenses (rent, utilities, phone and travel) as long as restricted funds allow. A financial advisor will assist in prioritizing debts and expenses and advise TRF and Jennifer for best allocation of resources.
TRF is a 501(c) 3 Utah-based organization founded by the Grammy award-winning band, Imagine Dragons and the Robinson family. Their mission is to strengthen families financially and emotionally as they cope with the tragedy of a pediatric cancer diagnosis by providing hope, information, and relief through financial services, caring volunteers, and monetary grants.
