As some of you may already know, Jerry Kenmoe a 4th Grader from Flushing, New York passed away on Sunday June 29th. His father has been charged with his death. This has left his mother and her family to plan his burial. The family is in need of financial assistance to properly bury him. Their wish is to have his remains brought back to the mother’s native country which is in Central Africa. Unfortunately, this will cost them thousands of dollars. Members of the Flushing community have been asked to assist in coordinating a fundraiser on the families behalf.
Services were held for Jerry yesterday in Brooklyn. The outpouring of love and support for Jerry and his family was tremendous. We continue our quest in raising funds and hope to have Jerry home to rest in peace by Wednesday of this week. Thank you.
