BENEFITING: ANATOLIA FOUNDATION INC
Ever seen a Mother Sea Turtle lay her eggs? Not to be missed. It could be one of the most spiritual moments of your life!
Loggerhead Turtles (Carretta Carretta) are considered endangered species. Pregnant mother turtles and newborn baby turtles need special attention. The members of a small Turkish Mediterranean community (Cirali, Antalya) are just doing that! They patrol day and night on the beach during Spring, Summer and Fall, to make sure mother turtles are not disturbed. They also assist newborn baby turtles to reach the sea, against all dangers that may appear on their way.
The community formed a Cooperative for the sustainability of the project and was sponsored by WWF until recently. They are now challenged by dangers of urbanization and lack of funds.
We decided to sponsor this project. For this we need your help!. Please DONATE to help us assist this community with this admirable cause. All amounts are welcome and tax deductible.
