BENEFITING: Special Books by Special Kids
EVENT DATE: Oct 13, 2016
After the flood in Baton Rouge members of the neurodiverse community have been left homeless and displaced. Children and adults with special needs are without basic necessities and uncertain of what their future holds.
The SBSK community is known around the world for our love, camaraderie and compassion. With our combined goodwill and generosity we can help those in Baton Rouge who are currently hurting. Each donation is tax deductable and 100% of the funds raised will go to the families featured in the SBSK Baton Rouge series which will begin airing on 8/28/2016.
If our goal is met the money will pay for moving expenses, six months of rent and basic needs for each family featured. With 694,000 followers, if only 1% of our community donates $20 each we will exceed the campaign goal of $100,000.
The following are examples of the basic needs in Baton Rouge that your donation will fund.
$10 Donation- School Supplies
$20 Donation- A Tank of Gas
$50 Donation- Dinner for a Family of Five
$100 Donation- Groceries for a Week

Together we can show the world that the SBSK community stands together. If each person reading this contributes a small amount we can make an incredible impact on the lives of these families.
