BENEFITING: Dysautonomia International
Nilsa Vera Faraon
In February 2016 Gabi was diagnosed with a disorder for which there is no cure. As not only her mom but as a paramedic it was difficult to understand and process. I had never even heard of this disorder. It is scary to see your child with a heart rate of almost 200, looking sick and miserable and there is nothing you can do to fix it! I believe more awareness has to be spread and more research has to be done in order to fight this. Please help us whether it be walking, running, donating, praying or even just wearing turquoise on October 16th. The #16 is Gabi's favorite color and on that day I ask everyone to please wear "turquoise for Gabi" as it is the color that represents Dysautonomia. Thank you!
