From BRIAN:

My Friends. My Family. I cannot begin to tell you how lucky I feel. The fact that you would come together in this way touches me beyond explanation. I particularly want to thank our Gary Wilmes who knows me well enough to know that there are two things about me that are indisputable:1) I am vain. And. 2) I believe education and safe spaces to be educated in are the most valuable human investments we can make. SO, because of Gary’s keen sense and the generosity of all of you, I get to train with a champion and help build a school in the Philippines. I am humbled and grateful. I hope to reach each one of you individually, but, until then, thank you all so much! I also want to thank my beautiful wife, Siobhan, who has been taking such great care of our new son and joy, Cormac. It was HER birthday yesterday and instead of needing the celebration and break she deserves, she made it so they could both be at this training session. Cormac was in his training gear and was stealing hearts left and right. If I weren’t so tough, I would have cried.
The only hiccup was that Manny had to postpone. However, I got to train with some great UFC pros who pushed me to my limit and reinvigorated my interest in fighting-even at my advanced age and girth. Thankfully, I’ll now be ready for Manny when he does reschedule. Of course despite my needing to hob-nob with superstar athletes, the real gift was the fact that you all did this. I am forever thankful.
Look for a picture of me getting knocked out by Pac-man in the near future.

TED,
Thanks so much for this. I am lucky to have your son in my life. He is a good man. He must have learned that from somewhere. Thank you!
