George Mason #SaveSyria Campaign

BENEFITING: UNICEF USA

unicef at George Mason University

THE STORY:

A George Mason UNICEF initiative under Mason's #SaveSyria campaign.

With the conflict in Syria in its fifth year, for the youngest children this crisis is all they have ever known. For adolescents entering their formative years, violence and suffering have not only scarred their past; they are shaping their futures.

Take Reem, a 15 year old Syrian refugee living in Jordan. For her, school is a distant memory. She is now married and has a son.

There is hope. With your help, UNICEF can continue broaden its efforts in putting more children refugees back in school and save lives.

To learn more about how the Syrian crisis is impacting children, and how UNICEF is helping, visit http://childrenofsyria.info/

*Funds will support children living in Syria, as well as Syrian refugee and host community children in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey.

Special Thanks to - Donna Imadi, Laura Hillard, Mitra Kashani, Emmanuel Banks, Shamim Ahmed, Saba Sattar, Ola Alshammari, Sanaa Almiski, & Fizzah Abbasi for making this initiative possible.
