Central Georgia Teacher Sexual Assault Victim
Organized by: Jmc jmc
In late January 2015, Heather was leaving her home for work. She is a High school teacher in Bibb County Schools. A man attacked her and left her unconscious. Her dogs saved her life. Four weeks later the same Man returned to her home, tased her in the neck and then sexually and physically assaulted her. Even though he had bound her hands, she fought valiantly until she escaped. Her husband soon discovered blood and knew she was missing and called law enforcement. Heather was missing for several hours, and her family was concerned and feared for her life. She finally appeared hours later at a neighbor's house, bloody, bound, and hysterical. Days after the second attack her family was forced to move because a perfect stranger took away her ability to feel safe in her own home. She has taken a leave of absence from work so that she can heal from the trauma. Please donate to a public servant who has given so much of herself to our community, our children, and charity. She is such a strong person who is a rock for so many people and a source of comfort and love for her family, friends, and students. She feeds and clothes other people's children, has been involved with the Methodist Home, and helps anyone in anyway she can. Let's help her with medical bills, moving costs, and lost wages.
