Stuff About Me:

Most of you know me as a member of the emerging debt portfolio management team at GMO.   I have also lived the emerging markets, attending grade school in Colombia and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras and Field Director for an NGO (PLAN International) in Honduras and Mali.

Running the Boston Marathon to raise money for EMpower is a way to combine two of my passions.  After the race I will be sore for a few days, but the donations will make a lasting difference in the lives of the disadvantaged young people in emerging countries who participate in programs made possible by EMpower.  They learn skills and decision-making processes essential to improving their opportunities in life, including personal and community health, literacy and use of computers, and getting a job or starting a small business.
