BENEFITING: NATIONALITIES SERVICE CENTER OF PHILADELPHIA
(on behalf of PRRPC member organizations)
On June 20, the world commemorates the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of refugees. In Philadelphia, we will join the globe in celebrating refugees on July 8, 2017 with a festival held at City Hall from 11AM-3PM. Learn more at: https://www.phillywrd.org/
We want to share this event with newly resettled refugees, but not all of them have the means to travel from Northeast Philly, West Philly, and Southeast Philly to get to the event, and we need your help.
Please donate to help pay for transportation to bring our newly resettled refugees to this day of celebration and welcome. Just $5 will pay for one refugee to get to and from the festival, while a donation of $25 will pay for a family of five.
The Philadelphia Regional Refugee Provider Collaborative (PRRPC) is a coalition of nonprofit refugee resettlement, social service, and legal service agencies working together to create a welcoming and supportive environment for refugees, asylees, victims of trafficking and other humanitarian immigrants resettling in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. We work with state and local entities including the School Districts, Health Departments, and County Assistance Offices, among others to maximize equal access and opportunity for all new Americans.
