This holiday season what better way to show your spirit than giving for a great cause?
City Kids Wilderness Project is a DC nonprofit dedicated to youth development thorough outdoor connections. City Kids currently operates school year and summer programs for 130 under-resourced DC youth, enrolling new youth in the sixth grade and providing program support through middle school and high school. The program is based around three core principles: long-term youth engagement, experiential education programming with a focus on overcoming challenges, and goal setting with a focus on future planning.
During the school year youth participate in educational programs, hikes and activities right here in our backyard. In the summers, they travel out to Jackson Hole to explore the Wyoming Range, recreate, work in the community and bond with fellow campers and staff.
Please help us reach our fundraising goals for this wonderful organization.
