BENEFITING: ECOLOGY PROJECT INTERNATIONAL
ORGANIZER: ECOLOGY PROJECT INTERNATIONAL
EVENT DATE: Jun 30, 2015
This might look like a fundraising page, but it is actually a COMPETITION. I must destroy my co-workers by harnessing the power of THE CROWD to support an exceptionally good cause. Do you have a spare $15 or more to help change the face of conservation, protect threatened species and habitats, and educate local youth in six countries about the precious ecosystems in their own backyards? I'm hoping that you definitely do.
So, please donate - it'll make a difference (see below), it'll make you feel good, it'll make me like you more, and you'll get a discount at the EPI store which has super sweet gear. Seriously.
Enough from me. Here's what EPI says:
The power of the individual is what EPI is all about. And it’s time to flex your power! Let’s join together to dream BIG and do BIGGER with a simple action: get 15 of your friends to donate $15. And you’ll change the lives of 15 teens.
This year is EPI’s 15th anniversary, and more than 5,000 students will join EPI in the field in six countries. The majority of those kids are local teens in those countries who have never been on a field trip before. Never seen a live sea turtle, but have eaten their eggs. Never put their heads beneath the surface of the ocean, despite having grown up within sight of it.
Are you ready to make a difference for these teens, the next generation of conservation leaders? Help inspire them to dream BIG, get them connected to nature, and empower them to do BIGGER and better things for our planet. Get 15 of your friends to give $15. It’s that simple.
As a special thanks to all who help, whether you're a team member or a donor, we'll give you 15% off at our EPI store (now with new swag for everyone!). Even better? The EPI supporter who gets the most friends to give will receive a special swag bag with awesome EPI gear for all your summer adventures!
For 15 years, EPI’s mission has been to improve and inspire science education and conservation efforts worldwide through field-based student-scientist partnerships. To learn more, visit our CrowdRise Homepage or the EPI Website!
