BENEFITING: Saha Global
EVENT DATE: May 31, 2016
Hi everyone! My name is Jennifer Scotti and I'm student at The University of Rhode Island studying Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Gender & Women's Studies.
I've recently accepted a fellowship with Saha Global, meaning that this summer, I'm partnering with women in rural communities to build sustainable water businesses. Saha Global is an incredible non-profit organization that not only empowers women but provides safe, clean drinking water and electricity to towns in Northern Ghana. By contributing to this cause, you will be contributing directly to the start up fee for the clean water project and enabling me to travel to Ghana as a Summer Field Representative.
I honestly cannot do this without your help. Without the capital to start the water business, I literally will be watching this opportunity pass me by.
Every single dollar you trust me with will go directly towards bringing safe, clean water and entrepreneurship to villages that otherwise may not have that chance.
100% of the 76 water and solar businesses created by Saha Global in the past are still operational and completely run by local entrepreneurs in the community.
