BENEFITING: The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition
EVENT DATE: Aug 30, 2014
What's the Big Deal?! 3/13/13 – the Queen, my wife, diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) – rare and terminal disease suffered by 15,000 Americans: How much more special can a wife be?!
Why Should I Care? - Without advocacy and research this disease, with no known cause, no known cure and a life expectancy from onset of disease of 6-9 years, will continue to negatively impact patients and their caregivers.
So!?!? - This weekend is the Illinois Blues Festival (http://www.illinoisbluesfestival.com/). The Queen and her hubby are advocating by raising monies for research through sales of MSA materials, gifted materials and a Silent Auction.
What Can I Do? To show your support for the battle to solve the MSA problem and to demonstrate your love of the blues - Donate any amount you'd like or use your dollars to "vote" for your favorite blues artist at the event
