GG's Medical Expenses
Organized by: Peter Jagoda
GG is a 10 year old Belgian Draft Horse who is the beloved companion animal to Mary Balsack. GG had to undergo emergency surgery at Washington State University Veterinary school for colic. She is currently at WSU and is in recovery.
Over 10 years ago Mary rescued GG's Mom, Teddy, who was in foal with GG at the time. Teddy was a PMU mare from Canada. GG was a foal from the pmu industry. When Mary rescued Teddy, she was saving two lives.
GG is known throughout the area for her beauty, her strength, her gentleness and her great skills. She has been in many shows and has won competitions. She is special to a lot of people.
I wanted to do this fundraiser for GG and Mary to help them through this difficult time and to ease the financial burden. All money raised will go to Mary so that she can pay GG's vet bills.
As of now WSU is estimating that GG's bill will exceed $10,000.00. Her vet bill at the clinic in Spokane is over $800.00. If we could all pitch in a little this would ease the burden and help Mary a lot. Those of you who know Mary are aware of her life long love for horses, her experience and dedication to them and you know how much GG means to her.
If you would prefer to pay toward GG's vet bills directly you could contact WSU vet school billing at 509-335-0816. You can also make payment toward GG's bill at McKinlay & Peters at 509-928-6734.
All money that is raised through this fundraiser will go directly to Mary so she can pay GG's vet bills.
