THE STORY:

Matt Doubell wrote -

In an effort to show our appreciation to the men and women who sacrifice their lives for our freedom, the brothers of Theta Chi Fraternity Zeta Rho at the University of Kentucky are hosting their second annual "GI Theta Chi." This event benefits The United Service Organizations (USO) and is a day full of events challenging competitors in obstacle courses and other physical activities. Each brother has his own personal fundraising goal, but as a whole, we hope to raise $20,000 all of which will be donated to the USO. Each donation is very much appreciated and will go a long way to say "thank you" to all the service members of the United States Military.

I appreciate the fundraiser going to a great cause. Being an active duty service member, I know how much the USO really does help provide for those overseas and families back home to stay in contact with their loved ones overseas. The USO is a great organization for service members, wherever they are in the world. Hope you guys the best of luck on your fundraiser, and hope it's a kick ass party. Thanks for the support Asare. 7 months ago
