BENEFITING: WE Charity
I can't remember what triggered this, but I've always had a black and white image in my mind where I am sitting with few ladies as we laugh and smile in Africa...
Finally after years, I got to put color to it last month on June 2017 and learnt that these beautiful ladies are called Mama's.
I spent almost 2 hours plus with them in the Women Empowerment Complex.
The genuine smile, their authentic laughter and the most honest conversation while beading hit me right up through my nerves.
Till today I am unable to comprehend so many things like:
-Not being able to go to school because you have to walk hours to the river to get water for the whole family.
-Live in darkness with your whole family in a small hut which sometimes you have to bring the young pets in too for safety.
-Not having proper toilets and using the jungle for simple reasons.
-Drinking unfiltered water from the river.
-Unable to feed the family due to drought season
-As a patient myself having limited access to heathcare!
I can't... I really can't...
WeCharity has improved the lives of these communities in the areas they partner for the past 20years and I know if we contribute together, we will be able to ease the burden of these communities by at least just by bringing smiles to their faces.
No contribution is small. Therefore I pledge this year for my birthday on the 29 July, instead of wishing me, would you join hands with me and give the communities in Kenya a direct positive impact by donating through WeCharity.
From the bottom of my heart, I am genuinely grateful for your contribution and time.
With Lots of Love & Hugs,
Anyone can make a difference...
