At Gilbert, we want to teach more than academics; we want to also teach empathy and compassion.  There are several students walking our hallways fighting serious illnesses, and we want them to know they're not alone. To that end, we are honoring them by raising money for the closest children's hospital to us, which is Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.

We've planned an evening of fun activities on March 5th in which no one will sit. Since children with serious illnesses cannot take a break, we won't either.

Thank you for your contribution to Blank Children's Hospital.  Their Child Life program makes it a bit easier for patients and their families to carry on.
