Welcome to our page!
We are raising funds (and awareness) for GIRF, Gastro Intestinal Research Foundation, which is associated with the University of Chicago hospitals. We allocate the money we raise directly to researchers who are working on the development of cures for various digestive diseases.
My fiance, Aaron, is afflicted with Crohn's. This is our very local and very personal cause, and the work we do for GIRF assists the hospital where Aaron is treated. Please show your love and support and help us fund some research for my man's intestines!
A year ago you helped us raise $5,726. Thank you so much for your generous donations. This year we are hoping to make an even greater impact on the organization after I pound 26.2 miles of downtown Chicago pavement. This will be the 2nd time I am running the Chicago Marathon for GIRF, and this year I have twice the motivation to earn a personal record at the finish line!
Thank you for your help! We appreciate your encouragement. :)
