It is one hour before my birthday and as I sit here at my computer and think about what I want to do tomorrow or buy or have - I realize that there is nothing that makes more sense than launching another birthday challenge. A year ago, I decided to test my wonderful network and see if together we could raise enough money to support girls in one of the poorest places on earth and give them a better chance in life. My goal was $4200 which would cover the expenses for 3 girls – safe and sound!
To my surprise, the donations kept rolling in and by the end august we made it to $7400. So what does this mean? Not only did we keep 5 girls safe, off the streets and in school, we realized the power of “lot’s” of people giving a “little”.
Today, Girl2B is caring for 31 girls, from the ages of 10-20. By making a difference in the life of a girl in India you are actually becoming an agent of change for girls everywhere.
Now how awesome does that sound?
On Feb 1, 2012 The Telegraph released an article India ‘most dangerous place in the world to be born a girl’

So for the month of August, I will take a shot at my second annual birthday challenge and see how many girls we can help together. These girls are doing the work themselves. Believe me, it is no walk in the park. But it only is possible with your HELP.
My suggested donation is $40. (Just my age….. whatever… after 40, age is irrelevant)
By doing so you are investing in a girl for 8 days. 8 days of school, food, bed, safety, health, travel, vocational training, psychological and career counseling, job placement, family support.
Or choose how many days you want to give; at $5 a day it does not take much.
We will also give a very special surprise to the single largest donation. You can donate multiple times if need be, but at the end of the august, we will award the single largest investor with something super special.
What do you say?
