Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K with life- changing lessons. Girls learn to stretch themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.
Girls on the Run is an innovative health and wellness program. The 10-week curriculum, taught by trained, volunteer coaches, combines running with life-changing, self-esteem enhancing lessons that encourages healthy habits and an active lifestyle.
Each year more than 2,000 girls go through the Girls on the Run of the Rockies program. 50% of these participants are girls that are at-risk and come from low-income families. We support these girls in the program through fundraising.
