BENEFITING: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
I was very blessed last year with many good things, so this Valentine's Day a friend of mine (Stacey Ilyse) and I are doing something special to kick off our new year by giving back. Starting today, we are selling "Heart of Snow" postcards with a photo by Stacey Ilyse for $5 ea.
We will send it anywhere in the US for you. What better way than to surprise someone with your "heart" in a completely different and fabulous way - snail mail! Send one to your spouse, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your best friend, your grandmother, your mom or send some anonymously (we promise we won't tell them who you are). The possibilities are endless. This fundraiser ends February 1st. Post cards go out Feb. 5th. We will write your message on the back of the card, but please no profanity. See an image of the postcard on our blog.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital. Stacey decided on this specific charity for two reasons close to her heart... the 1st is that her late father Norman, went to Sloan when he was being treated for cancer 17 years ago and more recently, her mothers boyfriend of 8 years, Howie (whom she is very close with) was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is being treated at Sloan as well.
You can go to the blog to buy a lot of postcards! http://staceyilysephotography.com/blog/2011/01/14/give-away-your-heart/
We hope you'll help us raise as much money as possible and send some love with our "heart of snow".
Just enter your personal message and your name on the blog then click the "buy now" button and it will take you through the donation process via paypal. Feel free to share this link with everyone you know so they can give away their hearts too!
