BENEFITING: RIDING FOR ALL
Danielle (not her real name) suffers from post tramatic stress syndrome and bipolar disorder as a result of pre-adolence sexual abuse. She is afraid to be alone and also exhibits obsessive/complusive tendencies. She once said to me, "the only time I really feel in control of my life is when I'm riding." She is on state assitance through medical disability and food stamps. So, in addition to her past problems, she also lives hand to mouth on a daily basis. Through friends who own horses, she as been able to progress somewhat in her riding. Her dream is to be able to compete in local hunter/jumper shows as well as Western Pleasure. But to be able to do this, she needs your help. Riding For All can supply her with a leased horse, riding lessons, show fees and clothing, and all the other necessary training and fees to reach her goal and give her back the "reins to her life"! Please help Danielle with any amount of donation you can give! It would mean so much to her! $150 leases a horse for one month; $130 gives her lessons for a month; $125 gives her an annual membership to a local non-profit riding club where she can ride and recieve a much needed show training and coaching in show jumping; $35 pays an entrance fee to a local schooling show. Please give any amount. The amount we hope to raise will keep Danielle in the saddle for an entire year! Thanks!
