Every dollar raised through this campaign will go to support student success at Oakland Community College.
The Student Success Fund provides immediate financial assistance to help currently enrolled students, attending one of the five OCC campuses, through emergency situations which are impeding their ability to continue their education. Emergency situations involve circumstances which are beyond the student's control, such as an accident, loss of income, illness, or unanticipated educational expenses. Students must have exhausted all other sources of funding before applying for this program.
Funds are primarily used for the following emergency financial needs, but are flexible enough to cover other situations:
Food, rent or utilities
Emergency transportation and vehicle repair
Child care expenses
Educational expenses, including tuition, fees, books
Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to help students pay for thier cap/gown for graduation, books, food and other necessities which are essential to thier success. While we are all faced with uncertainties, please consider becoming involved in these events which builds a stronger foundation to support our students, college and community.
