Give Music is Music Forward’s annual campaign that raises funds to put new instruments directly into the hands of deserving, young musicians who are serious about using music as a catalyst to achieve their future goals.
Give Dollars. As a fundraiser, join together with coworkers to ask friends and family to donate dollars to Give Music.
Give Time. Give Music invites young musicians to write letters indicating how a new instrument would help them achieve their goals. Experience first-hand the impact you are making by reading Give Music letters and volunteering at a Give Music instrument event.

This holiday season, I'm rallying my friends and co-workers to support House of Blues Music Forward Foundation's Give Music campaign.
Three years ago, Music Forward was approached by a young man named Mario. Mario dreamed of having his own saxophone. The instruments available to him were old, damaged and shared among many students, and he could not take one home for practice. When he needed an instrument to play at his church anniversary celebration, none were available. Mario reached out to us to see if we could help, and Give Music was born.
Since then, Give Music has placed more than 330 brand new, high-quality instruments valued at $250,000 into the hands of driven young musicians in 14 cities across the country.
This year, I’m joining the cause and have set a goal of raising [Insert Fundraising Goal Here]. If you donate just $30 (that’s equivalent to giving up one cup of coffee a month!) you’ll help a young musician get a new instrument. I need your help to make musical wishes come true.
Music has the power to open doors to future success for the students we serve. Please join me in supporting worthy young musicians who need our help the most.

Thank you so much for your support.

Team Captain Recruitment Email
This November, I am joining Music Forward’s annual holiday campaign, Give Music.
Music Forward welcomes Live Nation employees to raise funds to equip deserving, young musicians with instruments to call their own. Many of these young musicians only have access to old, damaged, or shared instruments, which prevents them from unlocking their full potential.
I give music because [Tell them why you give music!] (For example: I believe all young musicians should have the access and opportunity they need to pursue their dreams and take their skill to the next level on an instrument of their own.)
I would love for you to join my Give Music team.

If you are unable to join my team, I’d truly appreciate your support. Donate as little as $10 and you’ll help young musicians achieve their musical goals.
Visit [Fundraising Team Page Link] and click the big “DONATE” button.
Thank you for being instrumental in a kid’s success.

Talk About It
The holidays are a time for parties. Take a few minutes at gatherings to talk about Give Music. Bring some contribution forms found HERE and hand them out as people arrive.
Show your dedication to the cause by making a contribution to yourself. People are more likely to give when they see someone else has also contributed.
Make a List
Make a list of all the groups that you are a part of both online and off. Think about how you can fundraise for Give Music within these groups.
Say Thank You
Recognize those that have supported you. Their money is going to an amazing cause. Let them know how much their contribution means.
Host a party
Host an office holiday party benefitting Give Music. Print out a contribution card HERE to easily collect offline donations.
