THE STORY:

Hello
My name is Alexsandra and im here today to ask for your help in donating to families in need so that the homless may have a good thanksgiving and Christmas. I myself grew up in a shelter and almost on my way to foster care at the age of 15 and life wasnt what i expected for everyday i prayed for a better tomorrow. And i am 100% sure more than half or all residents currently residing in a shelter wish, hope, and pray for the same. My life changed when i came to California on a trip to visit relatives. After a few weeks i somehow felt as if i wasnt going back to what I once called home, shortly after I started to live my life little by little . Well till today it's been almost 10 yrs and i still havent ended up going back to Florida permanently and as a teenager growing up in los Angeles life seemed a lil rough but i always found a way to go around the negatives that came my way. Now here i am with my own place a job and a life youd never believe i lived. And im blessed to know that i have been given the chance to start a new life. All because one person donated to the shelter where I once lived the place I had called home. If you know more or less what im talking about im sure you understand if not all i can ask is if you were homless and had nowheres to turn and all you can do is ask for help. Would you? Maybe to yourself, where nobody can see or hear you, or maybe to a relative, friend or a stranger. Either way everyone asks for help at one point or another. I know till today i do. Like right now for example im here to ask you if you may please join me in giving the homeless a holiday to remember. Thank you for your time and support.
