JOYS OF LIVING ASSISTANCE DOGS wrote -
Across the nation, many Veterans suffer from PTSD. A multitude a debilitating symptoms accompany this disease, but with the help of a trained service dog, each Veteran recipient can start living a new normal. From Vietnam Marine Veteran, Joe, “Because of Sarge, I have reduced my prescribed medications from 10 to two! Sarge has provided me a new lease on life that is free from anxiety, fear, and tension. Thanks to Sarge, I can now walk in to a crowded, noisy airport terminal or shopping mall with him at my side, and a smile and confidence in my demeanor. God bless America, our vets and our service dogs.”
It takes up to two years and a total of $25,000 to train a qualified service dog. As JLAD’s contribution, these service dogs are provided at no cost to the Veteran. We rely on community support from caring donors like you to help make this a possibility. By donating today, you help a Veteran receive a desperately needed lifeline. No amount is too small and every donation is tax-deducible.
