THE STORY:

I have a goal of $3000 to help my mom start her life the way it should be and give my siblings a good chance, my goal with the $3000 is to save up and gather enough just to cover first and last for rent, and I'll tell you why . My moms name is Tara, she's 34 years old and the most beautiful intelligent courageous woman you will ever meet. She's been through the worst and still comes out the best. I look up to her and I am so proud of her because of all she's come through and everything she does for us. She's a mother of three, myself, my three year old sister Sienna, and my two year old brother Jaxon. My mom has been in an abusive relationship for too long, 9 years to be exact, and unfortunately has no way to get out, unless she had some financial help. After having two babies my mom weighed roughly between 175-190lbs, and with her crippling depression and anxiety, her confidence began to flow right out the window. Within the past year she's been through so much stress she's dropped to 107 lbs, and looks extremely sick. She went to school in 2009 for PSW and graduated and I've never been SO proud of her. Unfortunately while she was in the midst of her schooling, she started her relationship with her abuser, and of course she had no idea at the time that nine years later this is what life would be like, or that he was even capable of being this way. Her goal is to get a home for ourselves and put my brother Jaxon into daycare once my sister Sienna starts kindergarten and update her courses to finally kick start her career. She's a strong lady and I will believe she will get there, but I am asking for everyone's help to make sure we get there, because the kids deserve it, and so does she. Incident after incident continues to happen, whether it's verbal abuse or physical, she's taken on it all. A few weeks ago she called the local shelters and they turned her down as they've all been too full for too long to take on three more people. Throughout these nine years she's tried to leave so many times and has gotten help from local women's groups, and at this point they can't help her any further as emergency housing list is a year to a year and a half wait for a house, but she needs out now. My sister Sienna is starting school come September and my amazing boyfriends mother has stepped up and bought her some back to school things to get her started for her first year of school. I'm 17 years old, almost 18 and I'm doing everything in my power to make sure that one day things will be okay. My mother was diagnosed with depression and severe anxiety and can't even go for a walk down the street without having an anxiety attack, and her personal goal is to get better, be healthy, take the children's father to court and start working. It's taken me a long time to be okay with starting a gofundme to get our lives in order, her and I hate asking for help but we're in the place were in because we couldn't help ourselves, but this is what it has come to, even a little bit goes a LONG long way. Thank you dearly in advance for any amount to come our way. For any further information I would be happy to answer any questions or concerns and you can find me on Facebook under Skysin Solorzano. God bless you.
