Help children who are experiencing homelessness have a happy holiday!
As many of you know, I am very involved with Wellspring Family Services. The holidays at Wellspring are a special time of the year, where they extend their free family store by adding "the toy room". This is a special place where parents can shop for gifts for their children. The organization collects toy donations, but a financial gift can go a long way by allowing the organization to supplement in areas they do not get enough age oriented gifts to cover the needs of the community.
Please join me in helping Wellspring make this a happy holiday for a family in need!
A message from the organization below:
The holidays and cold weather are approaching, and ALL children need and deserve winter essentials– including warm winter wear, pajamas, and a special holiday gift. Every year, Wellspring Family Services relies on the support caring community members like YOU to help stock the shelves of our annual Toy Room and free-store where hundreds of families experiencing homelessness in King County will shop in the coming weeks for winter necessities.
Last year, 2,554 homeless children and their families shopped for items in our free store.
Join in the spirit of giving and help children in our community who are homeless have a warm and happy holiday season!
