EVENT DATE: Dec 15, 2012

Jason Popik & Richard Barrios

THE STORY:

My name is Jason Popik and I live in a Brooklyn waterfront property that was spared from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. Richard Barrios, friend and Amenities Director of the building, along with all the other residents, friends, and family, understand how many areas were not as lucky as ours, and very simply... we want to help

On Saturday, December 15th a ticketed fundraiser, complete with live and silent auction, cocktails and light fare, will take place at The Front Room Art Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. All money raised will go to The Christian Cultural Center (http://cccinfo.org/), who is doing tremendous ongoing relief work with individuals and families affected by the storm. A large portion of the night's donations will also go to supplying hundreds of children with new toys during the holiday season.

Tickets for the event are $125 and can be purchased at the door by cash or check (tax deductible receipts will be mailed by the CCC). Tickets can also be purchased by credit card, in advance or at the door, through the use of this website (all money is deposited directly in the Christian Cultural Center's crowdrise.com acount, and a tax deductible receipt will automatically be emailed to you).  If using this site to purchase tickets, we simply ask that you include your full name in the donation log. Those not attending may also donate through the website.

Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank you for your time and any possible contribution. It would truly mean the world to us if you are able to attend, because unknowingly, it will mean the world to those in need.

The Christian Cultural Center is a Brooklyn based, non-denominational church, who has already been doing tremendous work with Hurricane Sandy victims and areas devastated by the storm. My hope is to raise a lot of money to help them continue their great relief efforts, and any contribution hereafter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. 5 years ago
