Giving Tuesday - December 1st
Giving Tuesday is the nationally recognized day of giving in the United States. This kicks off end of the year giving and is a great way to give back to those who have given so much for you and I! Help the Combat Wounded Coalition expand our mission. The 2014 statistics were staggering so we are kicking off Giving Tuesday early. Here are a few of those statistics: 49,993 veterans were identified as homeless, approximately 8,000 (or 22 a day) veterans were lost to suicide, and 573,000 were unemployed! These numbers are unacceptable! We all can play a part in bringing these numbers down for those who fight for the freedoms we enjoy each day! It's going to take a coalition. It's going to take you and I coming together for a greater purpose. This year our goal is to raise enough funds to send 6 warriors to get PTSD treatment. The cost of this is $5,000 per warrior. Please take a minute and watch the video embedded in this email. Then consider making a donation and challenging your friends or office to do the same! Even just $10 will add up and make a difference! Your donation will help a warrior begin the journey of rediscovering their hero within through pride, power, purpose, and peace! This is a great way to kick off the week of Veterans Day. Take a minute and give to those who have given so much for the freedoms we enjoy each day!
