It's that time of year again! I will be riding the National Ability Center's Summit Challenge on Saturday, August 22 for 52-miles of cycling fun (or shall we call it pain?).
In any case, the National Ability Center is an organization I love to support here in Park City. It's mission is to empower individuals of all abilities by building self-esteem, confidence and lifetime skills through sport, recreation and educational programs - adaptive cycling, skiing, horseback riding, etc. I have volunteered with their equestrian program, and have been blown away by how much a riding lesson can bring joy and true therapeutic benefits to the kids in our classes.
I'll be riding again this year with my friends from Team Gladius. Last year we won the group fundraising effort and hope to do so again. Thanks in advance for helping me support this cause!
