On March 2, of this year, Molly Seifritz – a person very near and dear to us here at Green Leaf -- passed away after an incredibly courageous and all-too-short battle with Ewing's Sarcoma. Molly was just 25. She was a scholar athlete who twice served as the Captain of the Women's Lacrosse Team at Buffalo State. She was a friend to everyone who met her, and she lit up every room she entered. She taught us all a lot about what's truly important in life.
For those of you who don't know us, Green Leaf Professional Services, Inc. is a Small Business Service Provider based in Rochester, NY specializing in IT, Bookkeeping and Payroll services for small- and medium-size organizations. As a company, one of our guiding principles is "Do the right thing." One of those right things is to give back to the community. We've known too many good people over the last few years who have battled cancer. Seeing firsthand what cancer patients and their families go through, we knew we wanted to support a local organization that offers the kinds of non-medical support that is so crucial to recovery. That’s how we chose Cancer Action Inc., AKA Gilda's Club Rochester, which supports those whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Please help us reach and surpass our 2013 goal, and come run or walk with us at this year's Eastman House Photo Finish 5K.
