Global Scavengers on a Mission
Jenny and Mark here, and we are about to compete in a Global Scavenger Hunt with a tagline: "A blind date with the world." We've willingly signed up to be sent to 10 countries with 11 other teams to complete as many scavenges as possible in an effort to be crowned victors. The catch?
- We don't know where we're going
- We don't know what we'll be doing
- We haven't actually met before
But one thing we have in common is our desire to spread kindness to the ends of the earth in which we'll be traveling. And for that, we need your help.
We've researched, and soul searched, and realized there are three great needs we'd like to address as we embark on this 40,000km journey:
- Orphans and education
- Clean water
- Refugees and displaced persons
Three unknowns [who, what, where?] meet three organizations [Musana, CharityWater, Samaritan's Purse]. Because three has a nice ring to it. Because three is a holy number. Because three times equals a charm.
Something like that. Just trust us.
Our journey begins on April 14th. We've got 23 days to be scavengers on a mission, and we want to get a head start. Please come with us. Follow our blogs (Jenny's and Mark's), join our story, and help us help the world.
