Gloria Ginikanwa Udenze battled with Diabetes for over 30 years before her unexpected death. In collaboration with her daughter, Dr. Chinedum Utah,MD, she made it her goal to put an end to her diabetes, but not for her diabetes to put an end to her life. Thankfully, diabetes did not ultimately end Gloria's life. Gloria made it an effort to educate her family and friends both in Nigeria and America about Diabetes prevention and treatment. Diabetes is highly preventable and treatable disease especially when caught early. Most importantly, in her small village of Ekeoba there is a strong need for implementing Diabetes diagnostics in order to save more lives of the citizens in her village through early detection and treatment. Although, Gloria has physically left us, her fight to end diabetes still continues. Help us join Gloria to put an end to diabetes. 100% or proceeded go to the THE DIABETES ACTION RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION.
