The American Red Cross of Greater New York is proud to once again, participate in the ING New York City Marathon! Today we invite YOU to JOIN US in our lifesaving mission by participating as a runner for TEAM RED CROSS or by simply making a donation.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The 2013 ING NYC Marathon will be particularly special for the American Red Cross and Team Red Cross as we honor the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.  Hurricane Sandy significantly affected the New York region and directly impacted the NYC Marathon last year. The Red Cross continues to lead the way in immediate and long-term recovery from Hurricane Sandy, and we cannot do it without your help.  By joining Team Red Cross, you are supporting disaster relief and recovery efforts, as well as Red Cross services nationally and internationally.
