My passion is art! It is what I love most and it is my goal to make a difference in people’s lives
using art. My school encourages us to get out into our community and "make a difference" using
our passions. I chose to paint a mural on the wall of Stewpot, Jackson’s largest homeless shelter,
for my M.aking A D.ifference project. I hope to lighten up the space (and thereby the moods of its
clients) with a little color! In addition to the mural, I want to raise money to buy quality art supplies
for the children’s programs at Stewpot. It is my belief that art makes a BIG difference in the confidence
of a child and the self expression art can foster goes a long way in education of a child.
