BENEFITING: JUNIOR BLIND OF AMERICA
On Sunday, November 13, college fraternities will face off against each other playing a Paralympic sport designed for the blind and visually impaired – Goaball! The Sweet 16 Tournament will not only be a blast and give the winning house bragging rights, but it will also raise money for Junior Blind.
Junior Blind serves more than 15,000 students and families annually and empowers individuals by providing early intervention, education, recreation, mental health and rehabilitation services. Each year, Junior Blind must raise several million dollars in private support to ensure that they may continue to offer the highest quality services and do so free of charge for their families, nearly 90% of whom are low-income.
