God's love for the children of Swaziland
Organized by: Shaun Belland
In June of 2016, my wife Jennifer and I will have an opportunity to travel to Swaziland, Africa in partnership with children's hope chest (www.hopechest.org) to spend two weeks at Ekudzeni care point. Care points are areas that are established to provide daily meals to children up to 18 years of age. In addition to feeding the children, the staff members present spend time with the children each day sharing how much Jesus Christ loves them. During our time at the care point we will be providing a medical clinic where we will be able to provide medical attention and crucial vitamins and medication to the children and their parents/guardians, and we will also provide bible lessons and discipleship to the children. Swaziland has one of the highest amount of HIV/AIDS in the entire world. 1 in 4 adults in Swaziland has HIV/AIDS. Because of this, many children do not have parents or guardians. The care of the children is left to the people in the community. By helping to fund this opportunity for my wife and I, you are helping to show the children of Swaziland that there are people in the world that do care about them.
