BENEFITING: HAITI RELIEF FUND
Recently, Hurricane Matthew has wreaked havoc across the southeastern United States and Caribbean. Of the countries affected by this tropic storm, by far Haiti has felt the impact the most. Nearly 900 Haitians have died with many more, in the thousands, becoming homeless. Just beginning to recover from a major Earthquake in 2010, and with an already weak infrastructure, the Haitian government is finding it difficult to help many of its citizens. For this reason, I will be running the Baltimore Marathon to raise money for the Haitian Relief Fund, literally "Going the Distance for Haiti". Although the recommended donation is $26, one dollar for every mile, all donations will be appreciated.
