Your generosity warms my heart

BENEFITING: Philadelphia Foundation
This November, I’m running my first marathon in Philadelphia to keep dreams alive for families touched by heart disease. Some things are worth ruining a perfectly good pair of running shoes.
The Onny and Oboe Scholarship Fund helps heart transplant recipients, and their families, with post-secondary education. "A second chance to live is a second chance to dream." The scholarship was founded in honor of my sister-in-law Deanna, who lived defiantly with Cardiomyopathy. The fund is so-named for her childhood, imaginary friends — twins named Onny and Oboe. (Read their sweet story here.)
I'm taking the fundraising baton from my brother Michael, who walked across the country to fund the scholarship ... WALKED across the country! We need to raise $7,000 for the Onny and Oboe Scholarship Fund to begin helping young heart patients every year. We have the power to help patients like Deanna realize their dreams.
Managed by The Philadelphia Foundation, all donations are fully tax-deductible.
So I’m waking up at 4:30 to run before work and knocking out 15-milers on the weekends. But compared to a heart patient's road to recovery, 26.2 miles isn't so daunting.
Thank you so much for your generosity. Onny and Oboe thank you. Please remember to write "ONNY AND OBOE FUND" in the Comments box beneath your donation amount.
Peace, love and health,
