Join me in raising funds to send four youth leaders on an educational exchange to Johannesburg, Soweto, Mpumalanga, and Cape Town with the Cultural Discovery Tour presented by Delta Life Foundation and Good Journey Development Foundation.
Good Journey Development Foundation (GJDF) is a youth leadership and community building organization. Good Journey received designation as a 501(c)(3) and Missouri nonprofit organization in 2004. Through our programs we create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and become community leaders. We motivate and challenge young people ages 8 to 25 to develop personally, academically, and to give their best to create positive change for our communities.
Their mission is to support and build sustainable communities and young leaders who take responsibility for the improvement of our communities, and promote cultural understanding that contributes to the betterment of society.
GJDF’s programs and associated curricula are effective at engaging and reaching young people with positive messages, challenging them to think of new and positive ways to address and solve problems. Engaged youth learn new ideas and concepts and discover how these are relevant to their lives. Ultimately, our programs help young people better understand who they are meant to be with themselves, their family, their community and world.
